Updates in November

Dear Members,

As many of you are aware, St. Louis County has issued new guidelines that will go into effect Tuesday, November 17. I want to reassure you that your PALM team has carefully reviewed and considered these changes.

Fortunately, the updates will not significantly impact how we are currently operating at PALM Health. At PALM we have been over-cautious and have been operating at 25% or less capacity in each room since the county’s initial guidelines were released. This includes the fitness center and our classes, so we have no changes to capacity planned in either space.

The main update is that individuals exercising in our fitness center or a class will now be required to wear masks. PALM will be adhering firmly to this guideline and know that our members will do so as well.

Our current in-person class schedule will continue with minimal adjustments so you can work out in our Oak Room with your favorite instructors. And, as of today we are launching two new options to work out from home!

PALM’s new live streaming classes offer a chance to work out with an instructor via our fitness software, MindBody, from the comfort of your home (we are no longer using Zoom). We’ll be offering additional live streaming classes as more of us are heading inside or staying home to work out. Sign up on the PALM app or by calling reception at 314-801-8898 option 1 then 1. See our full class schedule, or for instructions on how to access virtual classes, please visit this link.

For those who want a workout when they want it, PALM’s On Demand Class Library is now available on the PALM app. Click the tab “Online Video Library” and sign in with your username and password to see classes ranging from Pilates to Boxing to Flow to Sculpt to Stretch, and more. These on-demand recordings are available as a part of all membership levels, so you can stay on track wherever you are.

The PALM Café is here to support you and your family with delicious meals made with love from organic, fresh, and high-quality ingredients. Our meals will continue to be served in to-go containers, and as always, individual and family meals are available for pick up so you can have an amazing meal on the table in minutes.

Our medical services and wellness therapies will continue to be offered in-person, and virtually, if possible.

As always, our top priority is your safety and comfort, and our facilities team remains diligent in upholding our standards for cleanliness and sanitation. Learn how we are keeping our community safe with details on our cleaning protocols and COVID-19 standards.

We look forward to continuing to serve you in your pursuit of well-being, especially at this critical time.

Warmest regards,

Lauren
